Roever Public School / Accademic Report

Hans Roever Public School being the first of its’ kind in the arena of Hans Roever Educational Institutions, Perambalur, has started its operation on April 28th 2011. We proudly announce that our school has been registered under Central Board of Secondary Education, Affiliation Unit , New Delhi.

Academic Year 2018 – 19 :

  • On April 05th, the school was started for the Academic year 2018-19 and reopened on June 07, 2018.
  • In April, a training programme in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking was organized by IIT, Kharagpur. Research person given training for 34 students. From class VI-IX. Five students were selected –Prabhakaran, Deepak, Ishita Bouddh, Rukumani kanchana and suhaina banu to vist IIT kharagpur. 
  • On July 2, 2018, we celebrated our school Founders’ Day.
  • On August 15 Independence Day was celebrated in school. We had March past and historical dance.
  • On September 20, seventh annual Sports day was celebrated in a good manner with our parents. Sir Chairman hoisted the flag and Chief Guest Mr.Azaguduari ADSP, declared the sports meet open. Our Mam Chairman, Smt.Mahalakshmi Varadharaajen, distributed the prizes.
  • On September 5, Teacher’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Teachers were given red carpet welcome by the students. Various events were conducted for the teachers and prizes were given for the winners.
  • Children were sent for Kho-Kho, Zonal level carom, Chess for District level competition and they won prizes.
  • Vigilance Awareness week was observed between 29th Oct 18 to 3rd Nov 18, to promote transparency, accountability and integrity in public life. And also, organized many Competitions and events such as vigilance pledge, Essay writing Competition, slogan writing Competition, speech competition etc. Many students participated with interest and received medals and certificates.
  • Haripriya of STD 6, Participated in district level speech competition and got “Young Achiever Award” and Trophy, Which was organized by the Department of public library.
  • On National Austerity day, S.Tharika of STD IX has won district level first prize in dance competition. Like her, S.Swetha of STD IX, has won district level second prize in Drama competition, which was organized by Savings Department, Perambalur collectorate and prizes were distributed by Our collector Smt V.Sandha IAS.


Academic Year 2017 – 18 :

  • Various  events were celebrated with a lot of vigour and fun:-
    Yoga Day, The Independence Day, The Republic Day, Teacher’s Day,Childern’s Day,Kamarajar Birthday Day, Christmas celebration, Pongal celebration etc.
  • The school conducts the competitions including SOF, Humming Bird Olympiad, Postal department’s letter writing competition every year for enriching students’ knowledge.
  • Along with gaining knowledge, many events are conducted with the vision of creating awareness among the public. Such as Rally for Rivers, Rally for English, Health camp, DPT & TT injection etc.
  • Sports Day
    • On 25th Nov 2017, we celebrated 6th annual sports meet in an opulent manner. Dr.K.Varadharaajen, our sir Chairman declared the sports meet open and our Vice Chairman Mr. John Ashok Varadharaajen, distributed the prizes.
  • Educational excursions to various interesting places were made, such as a Fire Station, Post office, Sathanur Fossil Park, Ranjankudi Fort, Public library etc.
  • National festivals were celebrated to inculcate patriotism and make the students feel proud to be Indians.


Academic Year 2016 – 17 :

  • In the science expo “Veetukoru vingani” was conducted by Puthiya Thalaimurai in July 2016, Limbert, Renash and kiruthick Roshan became district toppers-Rank I and II respectively and bagged “Naalaya Kalam”award in a function held @ Rameshwaram.
  • Regular health camp was conducted during the month of August 2016 by a team of doctors.
  • An educational tour of 36 students along with Mrs.S.Kayalvizhi, Principal, Mr.F.Antony Vincent Raj and Mr.P.Planisamy visited shirdi, Mumbai and other places by flight.
  • Teacher’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Besides a special assembly, a cultural programme including an ethnic walk for teachers was organized by the students.
  • On 4th Nov 2016, 5th Annual sport meet was conducted in a sublime manner. Sir Chairman hoisted the flag and declared the sport meet open. Olympic torch was lighted by sir Vice Chairman. Winners received prizes from mam chairman.
  • On 9th Feb 2017, our school Annual Day was celebrated. chief guest Thiru Gnana.Siva Kumar ADSP, Perambalur inaugurated the function. Sir Chairman, Mam Chairmam, sir Vice chairman and other dignitaries of our institutions were present. Children exposed their talents in singing and dancing.


Academic Year 2015 – 16 :

On June 1st the school was reopened. On June 12th, we, the Roverians, were brimming with pride and joy as ours was the First CBSE School in Perambalur to get NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the State Government with the recognition code NO (24-S-0001-0517)

On July 10th Digital India Campaign was conducted in school.

On July 25th, 26th and 30th, two students of our school (K.Migal and M.Bharathi Jayamohan) won the prize in the state level Chess competition at Namakkal.

On August 15th, maiden Independence Day was celebrated in school. We had March past, release of Dove, dance and historical tableau.

On August 18th, D.P.Harry Giftson of VI standard won the first prize in junior level competition (veetukku oru vingani) in Perambalur.

On August 23rd, M Dhanish Raju of I standard got the first prize in state level yoga competition.

On September 6th, S.S.Nagul K.G.I B was the proud winner of II place in drawing competition conducted by Rotary Club.

On October 20th, the mobile planetarium show was conducted in school.

On November 27th, we initiated an innovative programme named 'As you like it', conducted to develop the various skills of students (speech, Rhymes, mono action, Declamation and oratorical). It is conducted on last Fridays of every month.

On December 18th, A maiden Food Mela was  conducted with great pomp and show. It was witnessed by our Roever Institutions. The fund was collected for the flood relief. We handed over the collected fund to the district collector.

On January 29th & 30th, Science Expo was conducted in grand manner. The children exhibited the experiments and it paved way to disclose experiments in an innovative and creative way. The best ones were given prizes.

On Feburary 18th, JRC wing was inaugurated. 100 students enrolled their names.

On 26th February 4th Annual Sports day was celebrated in a glorious manner. Sir Chairman hoisted the flag and declared the Sports Meet open. Olympic torch was lighted. Children Participated in various events and won trophies Winners were given Prizes by Mam Chairman and AO Mam. The celebration came to end in the evening.

28th March 2016 is an important day in the history of our school where we all were awaiting for the most expected event to be happened. That is the day of inspection from the central board to be affiliated we were as busy as a Bee with the committee members round the clock who were visiting the fully equipped Science lab, Maths lab, Computer Science lab, 3D lab and Smart class rooms and the spacious play ground.
And the other feather was added in our cap when our children were being appreciated for their communicative skill and their talent by the members.

Academic Year 2014 – 15 :

The school began on June 2nd. The school was upgraded to middle school. On July 15th 2014, Kamarajar's birthday was celebrated as 'Education Development Day'. A. Limbert Renash and C. Aiswarya of standard VI delivered a speech.

On August 15th, 68th Independence Day was celebrated. Mam chairman and A.O. Mam were present. The presidential address was given by A. O. Mam.

On October 10th Six Students of VI-Std participated in 'Innovta 14'at TRP Engineering College in Trichy. M. Kiruthick Roshan, S. Rakesh Kanna, A. Limbert Renash won the first place in district level and third place at the National level. They added another feather to the cap of the school.

On October 26th, eight students participated in Abacus competition in Chennai. K. Harini of III-Std brought laurels to our school by sweeping off the Shield by having done 28 sums in 3 Minutes while others won participation certificates.

On December 13th, a motivational Workshop was conducted for our teachers in our School.Dr.James Sundar, head of the English Department and the Professor of Loyola College, Chennai, was the resource person.

On February 14th was a Festivel day of our School as we celebrated 3rd Annual Day with grandeur.Dr.Raja Sekaran and Dr. Rajeswari were the Chief Guests of our function. Our children exhibited the talents in the form of dance, Mime, Play and Skit.

On February 8th four students of our school were selected for the second level in International Maths Olympiad. The school was closed in April.

Academic Year 2013 – 14 :

The School victoriously stepped into its III year on Monday, June 3rd , 2013. The Classes were upgraded till Std – V. We have a total strength of 272 Students with 18 teaching staff. Children are given holistic learning through dedicated faculty. The Co-Scholastic classes begun on 1 July' 13.

On July 15th 2013 , Children had persuasion on the life of Kamarajar on his birth day. On July 24th the whole Roverians were in their full fledge, exposing their talents in Drawing , Handwriting , Essay Writing , Poetry Writing etc., conducted by Agaram Foundation.

On August 15th , both the staff as well as the students were on cloud nine, for our 67th Independence Day Fete. Our Sir Chairman hoisted the flag Mam, Chairman and Administrative Officer were the key persons. Dr. K. Ayothi , Principal , Thanthai Roever College of Arts and Science , Scintillated the gathering with his astounding oration.

We had March Past , Parade and a procession of the Cherubs of the School dressed up like National Leaders. The Whole Function was fabulous.

On September 5th, Teacher's day was celebrated. Dance, skit and drama were performed. It was a fabulous day.

On December 2nd to 5th, we celebrated plantation week .We named it 'Go Green week'. Students  presented saplings of Rose and Neem and planted in our school garden.

The International Mountain day was celebrated On December 11th.

On November 14th, Children's Day was celebrated. There were variety of programme such as Fancy Dress parade, Quiz Competition, Drama and Mono actions.

On December 23rd, Christmas celebration was celebrated in a magnificent way. Mam chairman graced the function. We had nativity play, Christmas carol and concluded with the arrival of Santaclaus.

On February 5th, Children were taken to the Book fair at Perambalur. This initiative was taken by the School to inculcate the habit of reading.

Third annual sports day was conducted On February 6th of 2014. Children participated in various competitions and won the prizes. Mam Chairman graced the function.

March 3rd and 4th were day out for children. The senior students visited the historical place Ranjankudi Fort while others visited our Roever institutions.

We celebrated our second Annual book fair in our school on March 22nd and 23rd. Along with students, Parents also came to book fair and bought many books. Students were motivated in the art of reading.

On April 11th was the last working day.

On May 28th the school set coffers ringing as the first floor of our school was inaugurated. Sir Chairman, Mam Chairman, Sir Vice Chairman and Head office personnels were present. Fr. Adaikala Samy cut the ribbon and blessed the first floor.

Academic Year 2012 – 2013

Our School successfully began its II year of Achievement on an auspicious Friday June 1st , 2012. The Classes were upgraded till STD  - IV

We have a total strength of 181 students form Pre-KG to STD – IV & 16 Teachers.  The Co-Scholastic classes were started on July 6th , 2012 for all the children.  Our School not only gives importance to Academic Areas but also insists on Non – academic skills.  We project on value bases education to b e successful in this highly competitive world.  So, Classes are conducted on Karate, Drawing , Music & Dance etc., On July 15th , 2012 Kamarajar's Birthday was celebrated as "Education Development Day".

The 2nd Independence Day was celebrated on August 15th , 2012 with an explicit performance by our children.  Our Sir Chairman hoisted the Flag. Mam Chairman and Our Administrative Officer felicitated the function.  Mr.K. Periyasamy gave us a stunning oration about the significance of the Day.

Our Children of STD – III & IV delighted the audience with a marvelous patriotic song in Hindi. There was an authentic display of heated argument between the duo Veerapandia Kattabomman and Jackson Durai on stage.  A. Limbert Renash & N.B. Sugan of STD – IV were the key actors.

On December 22nd , 2012 Christmas bells  were rung in the school. Christmas tree was expositioned and we had Christmas Carols, Christmas Message etc.,

Second Annual Sports Day was conducted on 9th January' 2013 . Children participated in various competitions and won prizes.  On February 8th 2013 , the Roverians were in their full fledge in exposing their co-scholastic skills in our Second Annual Day Fiesta.  We had a variety of programmes like Dance , Music , Hindi Skit, Tamil Play and so on.

The academic year was closed on 12th April' 13. Admission for the next academic year 2013 – 14 is going on.  The classes are from Pre-Kg to Grade V. The School re-opens on 3rd June' 13.

Academics 2011 – 12 :

The school was started on 15th June , 2011 with 90 students from Pre-KG to Std III.  There are 11 teachers and special teachers for the Co-scholastic classes.  The School follows CCE pattern (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) to assess the ability of the children.  We follow semester System. There are 2 semesters in a year.  We provide quality learning environment which challenges all students to achieve their personal best and positive vision for their future.  The School has adapted innovative methods of teaching.  Audio – Visual teaching is used in the school to facilitate the students with interactive learning.  We have a broad and balanced education.
