Rover at a Glance
The Trust established these institutions in memory of a German Missionary, Reverend Fr. Hans Roever, who initially established a boys’ home in 1948 for students in and around Perambalur region. Since 1978, under the vision and tireless hard work of Dr.K.Varadharaajen, the Chairman & Managing Trustee and a student of Fr. Roever, the initial establishment has grown to include 26 institutions of higher learning and social development. The Roever Educational and Social Development Institutions have a proven track record of social development and gives preference to students from rural and poor families.

Research & Higher Education
Under the auspices of the Trust, the Chairman and Managing Trustee Dr.K.Varadharaajen has established and now manages a wide range of educational, social and charitable institutions. A number of higher educational institutions, such as Engineering and Technology Colleges, Arts and sciences Colleges, Agricultural colleges, Agricultural Research Center, College of Education, College of Physiotherapy, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, Teacher Training colleges, Management Institutes have been established throughout Perambalur district to give people of this region an opportunity to avail the best quality education at affordable and reasonable costs.
The trust also runs the Agricultural Research Center (The Krish Vigyan
Kendra), which undertakes research and development in agricultural productivity and through practical education of farmers.
Primary & Secondary Education
The Trust established a number of high schools throughout the Perambalur region to enable aspiring students from agricultural and economically backward families to benefit from affordable primary education. A total of Four higher secondary schools, One high school, 2 Elementary schools have been established in various parts of Perambalur district and they have secured many state rankings and have established themselves as a pioneer in providing quality education and producing top-class students.

Social Welfare Activities
Every year approximately 6000 students graduate from our colleges and around 8000 students from our various schools. A total of 15000 students are currently enrolled in all the institutions. The Trust cares for over 1300 orphans, around 50 psychically and 80 visually challenged children etc. All Roever educational institutions have gained a good reputation as disciplined and academically excellent institutions. The trust in general, and the Roever Educational and Social Welfare Institutions in particular, constantly strive to explore innovative ways to educate children from all over India and to instil in them discipline and confidence, along with a solid education, to face the world.
